Their target audience is leaning towards the men who are affluent ABC1 movie fans, smart, sophisticated, opinion leading consumers who are totally tech savvy and always ahead of the curve.

The most noticeable thing about this magazine is the coluor scheme because it resembles America. Red, blue and white are apart of the countries flag and therefore reflects the film itself as the name of it is "Captain America" who is a superhero.
This has been created very patriotically as there is a lot that show off America. The language used however is very informal and uses a reference to elite persons method to grab the readers attention because they recognise this form. Also this shot is a mid-long shot while he is staring directly at the readers grabbing their attention. However, this image does become the dominant thing on the magazine making it the most important part of the cover as its an advertisement.
The Masthead, is called EMPIRE and is in a bold font, and this implies importance and an extensive group of states/people implying their target audience which seems to be everyone.
