Cross-Media Advertising

Cross media marketing is a form of advertising that uses multiple aspects of the media to advertise a product. The following areas are commonly used as the process for advertising this product or service:
- Radio
- Television
- Mobile
- Magazines
- Online
- Podcasts
This tactic is invaluable to any company as its the building blocks between advertiser and publisher and can therefore increase profits.
My advanced portfolio is an example of Cross-media advertising as I am producing a film poster, teaser trailer and film magazine cover. An example of this that is recent now would be the 7th Harry Potter movie as there are many posters, advertisments (print and online), trailers and news build up that was going on beforehand. Each of the advertisements have some sort of consistency to make sure the audience know what it is advertising:
- Same font used
- Same context
- Typography
- Same sort of Images
